All Things Go NYC Canceled Hours Before Doors Open

All Things Go NYC Festival has been canceled hours before its doors were set to open at 2 p.m. ET on Friday, September 25, with organizers citing "severe weather conditions" in a statement.

The three-day festival, scheduled for September 25, 26 and 27 at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, was to feature Zara Larsson, Lola Young, Brandi Carlile, Ethel Cain, Muna and Carly Rae Jepsen, among others.

Why did organizers pull the plug?

The decision came after consultations with local officials, the stadium and weather advisors. "New York, after consultation with local officials, Forest Hills Stadium, and trusted weather advisors, we have made the difficult decision to cancel All Things Go NYC on September 25, 26 and 27 at Forest Hills Stadium due to severe weather conditions in the New York Metro area throughout the weekend, including high winds," the statement reads.

"The safety of our fans, the artists and local crew is our top priority."

Organizers did not announce a rescheduled date.

What happens to ticket holders?

Fans who bought tickets through AXS online or by phone will receive automatic refunds within 30 business days. The statement did not address tickets purchased through other channels.

The cancellation hits a lineup that extended well beyond its headliners. Scheduled performers included:

• Rebecca Black
• Cara Delevingne
• Blue DeTiger
• Chloe Qisha
• CMAT
• Jensen McRae
• Meg Stalter
• Natalie Jinju
• The Beaches
• Hemlock Springs
• Grace Ives
• Cherry Bomb

A 14-year-old festival franchise

All Things Go has staged festivals in Washington, D.C., New York City and Toronto since its founding in 2011. The NYC edition at Forest Hills Stadium had become one of its flagship events.

"We don't really know how to put into words how heartbroken we are," the statement continued. "Thank you for understanding, and thank you to the fans, artists, and crews who make this festival what it is."

With the refund window set at 30 business days, thousands of ticket holders now wait to see whether All Things Go reschedules the New York edition or folds it into future editions in D.C. and Toronto.
