Camilla Araújo Announces 'Plot Twist' Podcast, Produced by Elan Gale

Camilla Araújo is launching a weekly interview podcast called "Plot Twist," with Elan Gale's unscripted production company TheYearOfElan producing and recording set to begin before the end of 2026. The premiere date is still to be determined.

Episodes will debut on Araújo's YouTube channel, which counts more than 9.3 million subscribers, and will run across major podcast platforms. Short-form clips and highlights will circulate on her social channels, where she has a combined audience of more than 27 million followers.

Araújo, 24, frames the show as an antidote to headline-driven culture. "I've spent the last few years building my career in front of millions of people, and along the way I've met so many other incredible creators who are doing the same," she said in a statement provided to Variety. "The one thing I've realized is that there is always so much more to who someone is than what you see online. That's why I created 'Plot Twist': to get in there and have real conversations that go beyond the clickbait and the headlines."

Who is Camilla Araújo?

She was born in Raleigh, North Carolina, to Brazilian immigrant parents. Her breakthrough came in 2021, when she appeared in MrBeast's record-breaking recreation of "Squid Game." That same year she joined OnlyFans and built a large following — larger, in platform terms, than most traditional media outlets could dream of.

The money was real. In a social media post, she wrote that she earned more than $11.5 million from the site in 2025.

Then she walked away. In a January 2026 video, Araújo announced she was leaving OnlyFans to launch Becoming Her, a paid online mentorship course that she describes as "exposing the viral content formula I used to make millions from my phone and how you can steal it."

What will 'Plot Twist' actually cover?

According to Araújo's reps, the podcast centers on the idea that no one should be defined by a single label — a thesis she clearly intends to test on herself first. Each episode will feature conversations with celebrities, entrepreneurs and cultural figures about the pivotal moments, unexpected challenges and personal decisions that shaped their careers.

Araújo says the show will focus on "all the reasons why getting out of the box is the actual key to creative and financial freedom."

"I want to talk about those unseen moments, those hidden fears, and those crazy decisions that led people to really become who they are now," she said. "Everyone's life is full of unexpected plot twists, and this is the place where we're going to talk about them. Let's fucking go!"

The guest list has not been announced. The show will be shot in person at Main Character Studios in Miami, which at least suggests a set budget.

What comes after the podcast?

"Plot Twist" is not Araújo's only project in motion. Her reps say she has additional products and business ventures in development, though specifics remain undisclosed. She has also used her platform for charitable causes and community-driven fundraising initiatives, including animal welfare efforts.

The pattern is clear enough: a creator who monetized one platform at scale now building an entertainment portfolio around conversation itself. Whether long-form interviews hold an audience trained on short-form clips — and on Araújo's own distribution strategy, those clips are half the point — will be the actual plot twist.
