Chappell Roan closed her two-night benefit run, Super Graphic Spectacular, on Thursday, Oct. 22, with surprise duets alongside PinkPantheress and Lola Young. The shows raised money for LGBTQ+ youth through her Midwest Princess Project, which her official website says has now raised over $800,000 and supported more than 60 organizations.

The guest appearances came fast in the headlining set. PinkPantheress joined Roan for "Tonight," a track from the British artist's latest project, Fancy That, and its remix component, Fancy Some More?. Lola Young then helped flip "Picture You," a song from Roan's The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, into a duet.

What does the money actually do?

According to a statement on Roan's official website, the figure is the result of sustained community giving rather than a single event. "Thanks to incredible community support, The Midwest Princess Project has raised over $800,000, and has uplifted over 60 organizations working to make the world healthier, happier, and safer for LGBTQ+ people everywhere," the statement reads. All net proceeds from the Oct. 21–22 concerts go toward that continued work supporting trans youth and LGBTQ+ communities.

Roan marked the occasion on Instagram. "Thank u to all of our acts, special guests and everyone who came out to support the show and block party," she wrote. "What an incredible night I'm smiling ear to ear."

A run built on collaborations

The closing-night surprises extend a recent pattern for Roan. Earlier in October, she appeared on the official remix of Olivia Rodrigo's single "Expectations," and she performed that remix live on the opening night of Super Graphic Spectacular. That same first night brought another high-profile guest: Christina Aguilera, who helped Roan revamp "Coffee," a deep cut from The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess.

The benefit also doubled as a showcase for a wide roster of performers. The Oct. 21 lineup included Lola Young, Tinashe, Amanda Lepore, Blaine Petrovia and Kyra Jeté, with Caroline Polachek, MUNA, Alisa Mae, Fantasia Royale Gaga and Sweady Eddie also on the bill. Roan herself crossed into a supporting slot at one point, appearing during Polachek's set to perform "Look at Me Now," from Polachek's album Pang.

The event marked the one-year anniversary of the Midwest Princess Project, Roan's philanthropic vehicle, and paired the concerts with a block party format.

What the full $800,000-plus tally means in practice — which organizations received funds, and in what amounts — the statement does not specify. The named beneficiaries remain undisclosed beyond the aggregate count of more than 60 groups, a gap worth watching as the project enters its second year with a proven fundraising model and, now, a stage large enough to draw collaborators like Aguilera and PinkPantheress.
