Jerry Seinfeld will play 12 shows at the Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas in 2027. The residency runs across three weekends: Feb. 11-13, June 10-12, and Oct. 28-30.

The first block lands just before the Super Bowl, a scheduling choice that suggests AEG Presents and Wynn expect crowds with money and time on their hands. Tickets for all performances go on sale Friday, Oct. 30, at 10 a.m. PT through ticketmaster.com.

To announce the run, Seinfeld filmed a series of vignettes throughout the Wynn property, declaring with unmistakable enthusiasm: "I have a residency, I'm a resident!" The line does most of the promotional work. So does the venue.

What does the residency include?

Each weekend follows the same shape: two nights at 8 p.m., then a third with double shows at 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.

  • Feb. 11, 2027, at 8 p.m.
  • Feb. 12, 2027, at 8 p.m.
  • Feb. 13, 2027, at 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.
  • June 10, 2027, at 8 p.m.
  • June 11, 2027, at 8 p.m.
  • June 12, 2027, at 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.
  • Oct. 28, 2027, at 8 p.m.
  • Oct. 29, 2027, at 8 p.m.
  • Oct. 30, 2027, at 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.

That adds up to 12 performances in a theater known for seating an audience close enough to watch a comedian work the micro-details — Seinfeld's natural habitat (a "residency," in the Las Vegas sense, is a recurring run of dates at a single venue rather than a touring stop).

Who is behind it?

"On behalf of AEG Presents and Wynn Las Vegas, we couldn't be more thrilled to welcome Jerry Seinfeld to Encore Theater," said Bobby Reynolds, senior vice president of AEG Presents Las Vegas. "Jerry is one of the most renowned names in comedy, and we look forward to bringing his signature stand-up to audiences in such an intimate setting."

Reynolds's emphasis on intimacy is the pitch. Las Vegas has spent years chasing arena-scale residencies from pop stars; a 12-date stand-up run in a boutique theater is the counter-programming.

Where does Seinfeld's stand-up pedigree come from?

Seinfeld co-created and starred in the sitcom that borrowed his last name, but the residency trade runs on his stand-up catalog. His specials include the 1998 HBO hour "I'm Telling You for the Last Time" and the Netflix tapings "Jerry Before Seinfeld" (2017) and "23 Hours to Kill" (2020).

He also created and hosted the web series "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee," wrote "Bee Movie," and was the subject of the 2002 documentary "Comedian." The last of these remains required viewing for anyone curious what a joke costs before it earns.

The booking puts one of comedy's most recognizable names on a Las Vegas marquee for a full calendar year, spread across three seasons. For a performer who has spent four decades refining the same craft, a stationary stage is less a concession than a logistics decision. Fans have until Oct. 30 to decide whether 2027 plans include the desert.
