  1. Tinx will host 'The Circle' revival premiering on Hulu on November 17.
  2. The series ran seven seasons on Netflix with host Michelle Buteau.
  3. New episodes air Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays for five weeks; finale lands Friday, December 18.
  4. The revival adds celebrity contestants and audience voting for the first time in the U.S. version.
  5. Tinx's books 'The Shift' and 'Hotter in the Hamptons' are both in TV development with her as EP.

SiriusXM host and author Tinx will host the revival of reality competition series "The Circle" when it premieres on Hulu on November 17, taking over from comedian Michelle Buteau, who hosted the show for seven seasons on Netflix.

The host change is one of several format shifts viewers will see. Celebrity contestants will join the cast for the first time, and audience voting will shape the game for the first time in the U.S. version. The series will release three new episodes per week — on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays — for five weeks, leading to a season finale on Friday, December 18. The show will be available on Hulu and on Hulu on Disney+ for bundle subscribers.

What does the revival change?

Hulu's logline describes the new version as "a fast-turnaround social experiment" that brings together "everyday players and celebrities to compete side by side in a game of popularity where identity is ever-changing, and anyone can be anyone." According to the logline, the series is "filmed in real time" and "gives viewers exclusive access as twists and player ratings unfold, with audience votes shaping the game."

The format supercharges, in the network's words, "the original's signature mix of strategy and deception into an addictive experience built for today's always-on audience."

The original conceit remains recognizable. Contestants lived in separate apartments, isolated from the outside world, and communicated only through a social media platform called "The Circle." Players were blocked over time until one remained and won.

Who is Tinx?

Tinx, whose real name is Christina Najjar, hosts the live SiriusXM call-in show "It's Me, Tinx," which premiered in 2022. In 2023 she published "The Shift: Change Your Perspective, Not Yourself," which reached the New York Times bestseller list. In 2025 she released the fiction novel "Hotter in the Hamptons." Both books are currently in development for television adaptations, with Tinx attached as executive producer on both projects. She is repped by WME, 3 Arts Entertainment and Paul Hastings LLP.

Who produces the series?

Studio Lambert produces "The Circle" with Omaha Productions and Motion Entertainment. The executive producer roster includes:

  • Tim Harcourt, Jack Burgess, Niall O'Driscoll and Stephen Lambert for Studio Lambert
  • Peyton Manning, Jamie Horowitz and Colin Campbell for Omaha Productions
  • Martin Oxley and Chet Fenster for Motion Entertainment

Susan House serves as showrunner. All3Media International handles international format and tape sales for the series.

The move to Hulu, paired with real-time filming and audience votes, marks the most significant retooling of the franchise since its U.S. debut — a test of whether a Netflix-bred format can sustain a five-week, three-episode-a-week run on a streaming rival.
