Banijay Entertainment Names Executive Team After All3Media Merger
Banijay Entertainment names its executive team after the July merger, with CEO Marco Bassetti confirming a top brass drawn almost entirely from Banijay's own ranks.

Programme
- The Banijay-All3Media merger completed in July and retired the All3Media brand.
- All but one member of the new executive team, deputy CEO Jane Turton, originate from Banijay.
- Most appointees pre-date Banijay's 2020 acquisition of Endemol Shine.
- The merged group is chaired by Redbird IMI's Jeff Zucker.
- The entity owns production companies behind "The Traitors" and "Peaky Blinders."
Banijay Entertainment, the merged Banijay and All3Media group, has named its senior leadership team, and all but one of its members come from Banijay. The announcement came in a company-wide memo from CEO Marco Bassetti, first reported by Variety. The merger completed in July and has retired the All3Media brand entirely.
Joining Bassetti, deputy CEO Jane Turton and Banijay Rights CEO Cathy Payne on the executive team are:
- Fred Balmary, chief business officer
- Nicolas Chazarain, chief legal officer
- Thomas Gousset, chief finance officer
- Anne Van Sprang, chief human resources officer
Bassetti also confirmed that Lucas Green stays on as chief content officer for operations, James Townley as chief content officer for development and Kate Humphreys as chief communications officer. Every member of the team reports directly to Bassetti.
Who actually made the cut?
The composition of the team tells its own story. Turton, previously CEO of All3Media, is the sole All3Media executive at the top table. Most of the appointees pre-date Banijay's 2020 acquisition of Endemol Shine, including Balmary, Chazarain, Van Sprang, Humphreys and Green. Gousset joined Banijay only a few months before the Endemol deal closed. Townley is the lone member of the group who came from Endemol itself.
All3Media has not been wiped from the structure completely. Thomas Shearer and Jamie McIntyre-Brown, both All3Media executives, stay on as deputy CFO and deputy CLO respectively.
In his memo, Bassetti praised the team's role in delivering the merger. "Since their appointments, this group has made a significant contribution to the business, with many playing an integral role in delivering the merger and advancing the current integration – please join me in congratulating them as we embark on this next chapter," he wrote.
He added: "We will formally introduce the team across the business as the integration progresses. In the meantime, we appreciate your patience as we continue through this period of change."
What does this change for the merged group?
The appointments settle the question of which corporate culture will dominate the combined entity: Banijay's. With Bassetti holding every reporting line and All3Media represented by Turton plus two deputies, the integration consolidates Banijay's existing power structure rather than blending two hierarchies.
The scale of the operation now under that structure is considerable. The merged group, chaired by Redbird IMI's Jeff Zucker, owns dozens of production companies worldwide and controls format superbrands ranging from "The Traitors" to "Peaky Blinders."
The sunset of the All3Media name, announced alongside the merger's completion in July, removes one of Britain's most established production brands from the market. For producers, distributors and broadcasters working with the group, the practical answer is straightforward: the deal points, the reporting lines and the sign-offs now all run through Paris-headquartered Banijay Entertainment under Bassetti and Zucker.
