Programme

  1. Brakence’s Marrow Tour opens March 4, 2027, at Soma in San Diego.
  2. The published itinerary lists 30 shows across 28 U.S. cities and two Canadian cities.
  3. The listed run ends April 21, 2027, at The Wiltern in Los Angeles.
  4. The announcement says the tour wraps in Los Angeles on August 21, four months later.
  5. Marrow followed Brakence’s 2022 album Hypochondriac and was announced with less than a month’s notice.

Brakence announced 30 North American dates for the 2027 Marrow Tour, opening March 4 at Soma in San Diego. His announcement says the run “loops around the continent” and wraps in Los Angeles on August 21. The published itinerary ends April 21 at The Wiltern. A four-month gap remains unexplained.

What is Brakence touring?

Brakence, a producer (the musician who builds and mixes recordings) and singer-songwriter, released Marrow last Friday and is now taking the album across North America. Marrow follows his 2022 album Hypochondriac. Brakence announced the record in September with less than a month’s notice, alongside the single “Ready or Not.”

Brakence’s announcement also points readers to H.D. Angel’s review of Hypochondriac.

Which cities and venues anchor the route?

Brakence’s announcement describes the routing as a loop around the continent, hitting major U.S. cities before the stated Los Angeles wrap. Its 30 stops cover 28 U.S. cities and two Canadian cities, each attached to a named venue.

The schedule reads like a road atlas drawn in long strokes: California, the Southwest, Florida, the East Coast, Canada, the Midwest, the Mountain West and the Pacific Coast.

What remains unclear about the August finale?

The 30 listed performances occupy 49 calendar days, but Brakence’s announcement leaves the four months between April 21 and its stated August 21 finale without a dated location. The Wiltern appears once, on April 21; no May, June, July or August entries follow. The announcement gives no explanation for the missing interval.

Any update covering May through August will show whether The Wiltern on April 21 is the actual finale or simply the latest date in the current itinerary.
