Disney's Rita Ferro, Melissa Barrera Make ¡HOLA! Latina Powerhouse 100

Disney advertising chief Rita Ferro, "Obsession" star Inde Navarrette and actor Melissa Barrera headline the Latina Powerhouse 100 list published today by ¡HOLA! Américas. The annual ranking recognizes prominent Latinas achieving across entertainment, business, beauty, fashion and other fields.

The publication precedes the organization's annual Latina Powerhouse gala, set for November 2 in Miami. Now in its fifth cycle, the initiative has grown into a substantial network: more than 500 women have been recognized since Latina Powerhouse launched in 2020, according to the publication.

What does the list recognize?

The list honors women in eight distinct categories: Entertainment, Fashion, Gastronomy, Beauty & Wellness, Sports, Creative Forces, Changemakers and Visionaries. Ferro, who leads advertising sales for Disney, appears in the Visionaries field.

"Since launching Latina Powerhouse in 2020, we have built a community of more than 500 remarkable women, something we are incredibly proud of," said Nagidmy Márquez Acosta, chief content officer of ¡HOLA! Américas. "Each year, our editorial team seeks to recognize both internationally celebrated figures and women whose extraordinary contributions deserve greater visibility."

Márquez Acosta framed the list's breadth as its defining trait. "From entertainment and business to beauty, fashion, philanthropy, health, and beyond, we want to ensure their stories are seen, heard, and celebrated. That is what makes Latina Powerhouse so special," she said.

The takeaway: the list functions as both a high-profile honor roll and a visibility engine for lesser-known figures across eight sectors.

Who made the entertainment list?
