Drake Adds Four Unreleased Tracks to Habibti, Including Don Toliver's "Solar Eclipse"

Programme

  1. Drake added four unreleased tracks to Habibti, now titled Habibti (FOMO), all debuted in his short film FOMO last month.
  2. "Solar Eclipse" is Drake and Don Toliver's flip of Ella Langley's "Choosin' Texas," which has spent 24 weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100 as of Tuesday — a record for the chart.
  3. Drake's new music this year totals three hours and ten minutes, with three projects — Iceman, Habibti, and Maid of Honor — slated for 2026 and a tour planned for next year.

Drake has added four unreleased tracks to his project Habibti, songs he originally debuted in his short film FOMO last month. The expanded release, now titled Habibti (FOMO), pushes the rapper's total new music for the year past the three-hour mark.

The centerpiece is "Solar Eclipse," Drake's flip of Ella Langley's "Choosin' Texas," featuring Don Toliver. The set also includes "Quebec," "Classic PT2," and "Cold Shoulder," a second Don Toliver collaboration that brings back vocalist Yebba.

All four tracks first appeared in FOMO, the not-so-short short film Drake premiered last month. During that premiere, Drake announced plans to tour next year.

The numbers are striking. Habibti (FOMO) brings Drake's total volumetric output of new music this year to three hours and ten minutes. That figure does not include the hour and two minutes of music videos he released to accompany his 2026 trifecta of projects — Iceman, Habibti, and Maid of Honor. That video run alone, as the source notes, is practically a short film in itself.

Don Toliver arrives at the collaboration with momentum of his own. He released his album Octane in February. The song at the heart of the flip, "Choosin' Texas," recently broke the record for the longest-running No. 1 hit on the U.S. Billboard singles chart, and as of Tuesday it logged a 24th week atop the Hot 100.

The "Choosin' Texas" phenomenon has already generated its own commentary. Alphonse Pierre addresses the Toliver saturation in a new Off the Dome column titled "Don Toliver Is Everywhere. But Why?"

With a tour promised for next year and three album projects queued for 2026, the Habibti (FOMO) expansion looks less like a one-off dump than a sustained rollout — one that positions Drake's next calendar year as his most prolific stretch yet.
