Dropkick Murphys will launch a six-week North American St. Patrick's Day tour on Feb. 5, 2027, at Revel ABQ in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the Boston Celtic-punk band announced. The run stretches to March 11, covering 26 dates across the United States and Canada.

The announcement comes after a seven-week European tour, with two weeks in Australia and New Zealand alongside Chicago hardcore band Rise Against still ahead.

Tickets for most dates go on sale Friday, Oct. 2 at 10 a.m. local time via DropkickMurphys.com.

Who is joining the tour?

Canadian street punks Home Front and San Francisco post-punks Spiritual Cramp will support for most of the trek. Spiritual Cramp recently collaborated with Sharon Van Etten on "You've Got My Number."

One date breaks the format. On March 10 in Springfield, Massachusetts, the band plays with no support act at all — directly after a Springfield Thunderbirds minor-league hockey game at MassMutual Center. Tickets for that show sell only as a bundle with game seats, through the team's website.

No Boston dates appear on the schedule yet, though the announcement says those should come soon.

What's the context?

The seven-piece band, fronted by Ken Casey, has released more than a dozen studio albums over 30 years. Their Woody Guthrie-penned hit "I'm Shipping Up to Boston" appeared in Martin Scorsese's 2006 film The Departed.

Casey's pro-union, anti-MAGA stance is a nightly feature of the band's live set. He recently criticized Ed Sheeran for "taking the knee" when Robert Kraft demanded the singer drop Macklemore from his tour. "That's not how Dropkick Murphys would operate," Casey said.

The band released the LP For the People in 2025 and a split with fellow Boston punks Haywire, New England Forever, earlier this year. In November, they contribute a track to 20th Century Paddy: The Songs of Shane MacGowan, a tribute album for the late Pogues singer.

Fans unwilling to wait until 2027 can catch the band at Tom Morello's Power to the People Festival on Oct. 3 near Washington, D.C.
