Fatima Al Qadiri will release a new EP, 3TWI (عتوي), on October 9 via Hyperdub. The title translates as "dirty old man," according to press materials announcing the record.

The lead single, "7ilween," is out now. Its title loosely translates as "pretty young things." The track comes with a video directed by artist Sophia Al-Maria.

The EP contains four songs. Two of them feature Bobo Secret and Lama3an. On the other two, Al Qadiri is joined by Gumar, the Kuwaiti vocalist who gave her name to Al Qadiri's 2023 EP of the same title.

3TWI arrives with cover art featuring original paintings by Khalid al Gharaballi.

The release marks Al Qadiri's first standalone record since Medieval Femme, her 2021 album. In the intervening years, the Kuwaiti musician and producer has focused on film soundtracks, including one released last year for François Ozon's L'Étranger (The Stranger).

The October 9 date gives Hyperdub another high-profile entry in its autumn schedule, and the EP's collaborators—Gumar, Bobo Secret, and Lama3an—signal the producer continuing to build on the vocal-driven direction of her recent work.
