Programme

  1. Gracie Abrams performed 'Hit the Wall' and 'Here You Come, There You Go' on SNL on Saturday.
  2. The deluxe edition of 'Daughter from Hell' is set for release on Nov. 20 with five new songs.
  3. Daughter from Hell debuted atop the Billboard 200.
  4. The Look at My Life Tour begins Dec. 2 in Denver and ends in late May in Barcelona, covering 27 cities.

Gracie Abrams performed two songs from Daughter from Hell and its forthcoming deluxe edition on Saturday Night Live this weekend, returning to Studio 8H a year after her 2024 debut on the show.

The 27-year-old singer-songwriter opened with "Hit the Wall," the first track on the album, which debuted atop the Billboard 200. She closed her night with "Here You Come, There You Go," one of five new songs set to appear on the deluxe version of Daughter from Hell, due Nov. 20.

Abrams first appeared on SNL in 2024 in support of that year's The Secret of Us. Her latest appearance came days after she announced the deluxe release.

What does Abrams say the album is about?

In remarks quoted by Rolling Stone, where she is the September cover artist, Abrams described the record as a reflection of the "in-between quality" of her maturation.

"The theme to me is trying to paint an accurate picture of all of these different versions of who you are in this decade when you are sort of one foot in a past life and one foot in the future," Abrams said.

She also spoke about the emotional work behind her songwriting. "I was really careful to try to have a better understanding of being both the protagonist and the antagonist in each song," she said of what she called the "metabolizing" process that shapes her material.

What comes next for Abrams?

The SNL appearance arrives just before a major run of live dates. Abrams embarks on the Look at My Life Tour, which begins in Denver on Dec. 2 and concludes in late May in Barcelona.

The itinerary covers 27 cities, with multiple dates booked in each stop. Four acts will share the bill across the tour:

  • Rachel Chinouriri
  • Del Water Gap
  • Jensen McRae
  • The Japanese House

For an artist whose album has already topped the Billboard 200, the tour and the Nov. 20 deluxe edition give Abrams two more platforms in quick succession — a five-song expansion of a chart-topping record, and a six-month trek that keeps her on stage through late spring.
