Holocaust Game 'The Light in the Darkness' Launches Director's Cut on PS5

Luc Bernard's "The Light in the Darkness: Director's Cut" launched Tuesday on PlayStation 5. The free Holocaust narrative game, originally released in 2023, places players inside the experience of a Polish-Jewish family living in Nazi-occupied France.

The new edition expands and enhances the original on every front. It features fully voiced scenes, extended narrative content, refined visuals and updated gameplay systems.

Voices of the Forgotten, Bernard's nonprofit, publishes the game. The organization is dedicated to promoting Holocaust education through digital media. Its reach extends beyond consoles: in August 2023, a virtual Holocaust Museum designed by Bernard became available in Fortnite Creative, putting historical exhibits inside one of the world's most-played video games.

The Director's Cut is available now on PlayStation 5.

Monopoly Go! Opens Its "Monster Mash" Season

"KPop Demon Hunters" and "Ghostbusters" have joined "Monopoly Go!" for the mobile game's new "Monster Mash" season, running from Sept. 23 to Nov. 25.

During the spooky season, the two franchises take over the game with HUNTR/X, the Saja Boys, the Ghostbusters crew and more. For the first time, "Monopoly Go!" will feature hit songs: "Golden" and "How It's Done" from "KPop Demon Hunters" will play in-game.

"Ghostbusters" arrives with themed vehicles, attractions and iconic ghost-busting equipment. Monster Mash also introduces the Luck-O-Lantern, which unlocks rewards when filled with enough candy, plus a dice duel with friends where each roll reveals a trick or a treat. Players can hunt for 25 new Sticker Sets hidden throughout the game.

The Sims 4 Updates Kids' Style Options

"The Sims 4" has released a free update featuring new ways to style young Sims' looks and spaces.

The update includes one new hairstyle, three adult hairstyles now available for kids and three new Create-a-Sim assets for toddlers. It also adds six new Styled Looks, eight new Build/Buy items, a new Styled Room and seven new Sims joining the Gallery.

Per EA, "The Sims" will continue to release free content updates throughout the year.

For Bernard and Voices of the Forgotten, the Director's Cut signals an ongoing push to keep Holocaust education inside the platforms where younger audiences already spend their time.
