Katseye Postpones Chicago and Minneapolis Shows as Megan Skiendiel Falls Ill
Katseye postponed Chicago and Minneapolis 'Wildworld' dates as Megan Skiendiel recovers from illness — the tour's third postponement in a week, on top of two members' health-related breaks.

Programme
- Katseye postponed United Center (Chicago) and Target Center (Minneapolis) shows this week due to Megan Skiendiel's illness.
- Monday's Detroit show at Little Caesars Arena was also postponed just before start time.
- The group is touring as a quartet: Lara Raj, Daniel Avanzini, Yoonchae Jeung and Skiendiel.
- Sophia Laforteza returns in January 2027; Manon Bannerman is on a temporary health hiatus.
- Tickets remain valid for rescheduled dates to be announced.
Katseye has postponed two more shows on its "Wildworld" tour — tonight's concert at Chicago's United Center and Saturday's performance at Minneapolis' Target Center — because member Megan Skiendiel is ill.
The venues announced the news on their social media pages. The group and its individual members haven't addressed the postponements themselves.
"We're sorry to share that tonight's Katseye show at the United Center has been postponed due to Megan's illness," the Chicago venue wrote. "Please do not travel to the venue, as doors will not open for tonight's show. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience."
Target Center posted a similar message and told fans to hold on to their tickets, which will be valid for the rescheduled date. That new date will be announced soon.
Why the shows were called off
The mechanism here is simple: one member is sick, and the group's current format leaves no room to absorb an absence. Katseye has been touring as a quartet — Lara Raj, Daniel Avanzini, Yoonchae Jeung and Skiendiel — since Sophia Laforteza stepped back from promotional activities in August to prioritize her mental health and wellness.
That makes this the third disruption in quick succession. Just days earlier, on Monday, Katseye postponed its show at Detroit's Little Caesars Arena shortly before it was slated to start. "Unfortunately, Megan is unwell and unable to perform tonight," the venue's Instagram post read. "We want to make sure she has the time she needs to rest and recover."
What does this change for ticket holders?
The practical answer: nothing to do right now except stay home and keep the tickets. Both venues have said existing tickets will be honored at the new dates once those are confirmed.
A lineup in flux
The bigger picture is a group operating below strength for months. Laforteza announced her break in August, and she recently confirmed she'll return to Katseye in January 2027, saying she "can't wait to share the stage again with my sisters."
She isn't the only member who's paused. Earlier this year, Manon Bannerman also announced a temporary hiatus to "focus on her health and wellbeing."
So the "Wildworld" tour continues, but with a shrinking margin for anything going wrong. Until Skiendiel recovers and the two announced dates are rescheduled, the tour's schedule depends on the health of a four-member lineup that can't easily cover for itself.
