Lindsey Buckingham joined Sombr onstage at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on Saturday for a surprise performance of the Fleetwood Mac classic "Go Your Own Way."
The Fleetwood Mac guitarist led Sombr and his band through the Rumours standout, capping a night of unannounced guests at the venue.
What did Sombr say before the duet?
Sombr introduced Buckingham with a personal tribute. "I'd like to welcome to the stage someone I look up to so much," he told the crowd. "This man's music is one of my biggest influences. I grew up on this guy, I think we all grew up on this guy, everyone… He's just been a great mentor, a great person. Please, give it up for the fucking legend, Lindsey Buckingham of Fleetwood Mac."
Buckingham then took the lead, and the two acts delivered the 1977-era album track together with Sombr's backing band.
Who else appeared at the Kia Forum show?
Buckingham was not the only guest of the night. Earlier in the set, Jesse Rutherford of the Neighbourhood came out to perform "Sweater Weather" with Sombr. Before Rutherford's appearance, Sombr teased the crowd: "I'm gonna bring somebody very special out on this stage, and you better fucking bring it."
Where does the tour go next?
The Los Angeles stop forms part of Sombr's You Are the Reason Tour, which keeps the singer on the road through July 2027. The itinerary includes:
- Two Madison Square Garden dates in late November, closing the North American leg
- Guest appearances at four Jingle Ball shows in December
- Mexico and South America dates beginning January 2027
- Extended runs through Australia and Europe
The trek is currently scheduled to end July 17, 2027, at Lollapalooza in Berlin — though the phrasing "for now" leaves the door open to further dates.
