Megan Thee Stallion Teases 'Act III' With 'Tina Tuesday Freestyle'

Megan Thee Stallion released "Tina Tuesday Freestyle" on Tuesday, her first solo single of the year, and used it to usher in the era she is calling Act III.

The track revives Tina Snow, the alter ego the Houston rapper named her 2018 EP after. In the video, Megan raps in front of an orange sports car — a car she actually touches, which suggests the clip is not AI-generated, however much the song insists otherwise.

"I look too good, AI couldn't generate it," she raps on the song, one of several quotable lines in a track built from rapid-fire, explicit rhymes. "He want the whole enchilada, hope I pop that bean," she raps at one point, with "Yeah, yeah, pop that bean" echoing in the background. Another verse: "Watch who I fuck, you bitches is cucks/I can tell nobody makin' you bust/A squirrel about mine, I'm gon' get my nut."

The single is technically Megan's second release of 2025, if you count "DNA (More Than a Game)," the FIFA World Cup song she recorded with Andrea Bocelli. But "Tina Tuesday Freestyle" is the first to carry the Act III banner, the follow-up chapter to her recent run of releases.

No release date has been announced. When Rolling Stone texted the phone number listed on her YouTube bio to ask when the album arrives, "she" replied only with a link to sign up for marketing emails.

The rapper has been open about the delay. In an interview with Marie Claire, she said she had hoped the album would arrive this summer and was disappointed when her calendar said otherwise. "I was very sad because I came to the realization that I was not gonna drop a summer album," she told the magazine. "I wanted to take my time and record and really write and figure it out."

The release caps a busy stretch for the artist, who recently appeared on Broadway in Moulin Rouge!. With the album now pushed past summer, fans should brace for a Hot Girl season that Megan has not yet scheduled.
