Phoebe Bridgers has released "On Video," her contribution to the soundtrack of Lance Oppenheim's crime thriller Primetime.

The song is a chilling rocker built on dense guitar riffs that lurk in the distance. It serves as the end title track for the film, which made its world premiere at the Venice International Film Festival.

The Primetime soundtrack features an original score by Ari Balouzian, Oppenheim's longtime collaborator. It includes the recently released "Savior."

Primetime also marks Bridgers' acting debut. The film is based on To Catch a Predator and its host Chris Hansen, played by Robert Pattinson. Bridgers portrays decoy Del Harvey. Merritt Wever, Skyler Gisondo, and Alex Winter also star.

At a press conference in Venice, Bridgers spoke about joining the project. "It was certainly super intimidating and when Lance asked me, I was like, 'No way,'" she said. "But it turns out, working with incredible people actually makes it way easier. I thought I was going to wither with all of these guys. Instead, it was so fun and free."

Bridgers is currently on tour behind her new solo album Lost Weekend. Like her pop-up shows earlier this summer — which included an evening at New York's Madison Square Garden — the trek is phone-free.

She brought her Primetime collaborators into her music as well. For the "Lost Boys" video, she recruited Oppenheim to direct and Gisondo to play a gas station cashier-turned-knight in shining armor.

Primetime hits theaters on Friday.
