Slayyyter Announces 'Brother' Album 'Wor$t Man in America' for Dec. 4

Slayyyter will release Wor$t Man in America, a nine-track "brother" album to her breakout 2026 record Wor$t Girl in America, on Dec. 4 via Columbia.

The Missouri-born pop provocateur describes the new album as an "inverse" of its predecessor. All nine songs connect thematically or sonically to tracks on Wor$t Girl. Two previously released cuts — "Crank 2" and "Beat Up Chanel$" — preview the approach, offering fresh takes on the Wor$t Girl tracks "Crank" and "Brand New Chanel$" respectively. (Notably, the new track list also includes a song titled "Brand New Chanel$" alongside "Crank 2.")

Why make an 'inverse' album?

Slayyyter laid out her thinking in a recent interview with Rolling Stone. "I want to live here for a little longer, so I'm kind of making an inverse album, if you will," she said. "I just want the core of everything to feel like me, because it finally feels that."

The timing is deliberate: the announcement arrives the day after she wrapped her headlining North American tour with a pair of shows in New York City.

Wor$t Girl in America followed her 2021 debut, Troubled Paradise, and the 2023 sophomore effort Starfucker. She told Rolling Stone those records were the "building blocks to figuring out my sound," a sound she says finally cracked on Wor$t Girl. "It took me a long time," she added. "This could have never been my debut album."

Where can fans see her next?

Her schedule stays crowded through the end of the year. Later this week she opens a show for Turnstile in Lawrence, Kansas. A run of dates across South America, Europe and the U.K. follows, lasting through early November, with Australia and New Zealand gigs scheduled for early 2027.

The Dec. 4 release will test whether the formula Slayyyter found on Wor$t Girl — an identity she says "finally feels" like her own — can sustain a second album built from the same materials, inverted.
