U2 release their 16th studio album, Carnaval De Luz, on November 13 through Island Records, leading a November release calendar crowded with new records, archive sets and anniversary reissues.

The Irish band's album anchors the busiest week of the month. The same day brings Shygirl's sophomore effort Swallow! — no, wait, that one lands a week earlier, on November 6, via Because Music, four years after her debut. November 13 also carries weight elsewhere: Aesop Rock and Blockhead team up for Trouble Mountain on Rhymesayers, Kim Deal documents Live at the Barbican on 4AD, and Westside Gunn drops Heelmatic on Griselda/Mass Appeal.

What does November 6 offer?

Plenty. Sufjan Stevens returns with the Christmas EP Worst Christmas Ever! on Asthmatic Kitty. Bob Dylan's The Rolling Thunder Revue: The 1976 Live Recordings arrives on Columbia/Legacy, sharing the date with Miles Davis and John Coltrane's The Complete Columbia Recordings 1955-1961 on the same imprint.

Shygirl's Swallow! is one of several high-profile releases that day. Skepta issues The Fork and the Knife on Big Smoke/Epic, Lil Baby releases Fresh on Quality Control/Motown, and Jack Harlow returns with the Sweet Action II EP on Atlantic. Kings of Leon's O My Beloved and Rex Orange County's Dream Fatigue round out the pop-rock slate.

Which catalog reissues are coming?

Anniversary editions dominate. On November 6: Britney Spears' Britney turns 25 with an RCA/Legacy edition, Kiss' Rock And Roll Over gets a 50th-anniversary super deluxe from UMe, Motörhead's Orgasmatron marks 40 years via Sanctuary/BMG, and Roxy Music's For Your Pleasure reaches 50 through Virgin/UMe.

November 13 adds Talking Heads' Fear of Music super deluxe on Rhino and a 2026 expanded remaster of Loretta Lynn's Van Lear Rose on Third Man. November 20 stacks more: Elton John's Rock Of The Westies (50th, Mercury/UMe), Jean-Michel Jarre's Oxygène (50th, BMG), Kylie Minogue's Fever XXV edition on Warner/Parlophone, R.E.M.'s Reveal (25th, Craft), Sex Pistols' Filthy Lucre Live (30th, UMe), and Bob Weir's Blue Mountain 10th-anniversary deluxe on Rhino.

The month closes November 27 with Beverly Glenn-Copeland's Keyboard Fantasies (40th, Transgressive), Bon Iver's 22, A Million (10th, Jagjaguwar), Björk's Björk Orkestral With the Hamrahlíð Choir on One Little Independent, and a new Peter Gabriel record, O/I, on Real World.

What about the tributes?

Two tribute compilations stand out. 20th Century Paddy: The Songs of Shane MacGowan arrives November 13 on Rubyworks, honoring the Pogues frontman. Also on the 6th, Heart of Gold: The Songs of Neil Young, Vol. 2 – Out of the Blue / Vol. 3 – Into the Black lands on Killphonic, alongside Where the Soul Never Dies, an 80-years celebration of The Stanley Brothers on Compass.

The Rolling Stones return November 20 with Foreign Tongues, Loose Lips on Capitol. That same day brings Gracie Abrams' Daughter From Hell deluxe on Interscope and the soundtrack compilation Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album on Atlantic/Rockstar, plus the Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping album on MCA a week earlier.

Holly Humberstone's deluxe Cruel World… So It Ends arrives November 13 on Polydol — Polydor, to be exact, alongside Florence + the Machine's Everybody Scream Tour Live. And Twisted Teens release The Holy Cross Tigers on Sub Pop, their third album of 2026. With the calendar this packed, December's release slate has a hard act to follow.
