Programme

  1. Charli XCX canceled her Wednesday show at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona, citing voice loss from illness.
  2. Ticketmaster buyers receive automatic refunds; other buyers must return to their point of purchase.
  3. Chappell Roan joined Charli for 'Boom Clap' — the first live performance of the 2014 single on this run — at the Kia Forum.

  5. PinkPantheress guested on her own song 'Stateside' during the weekend Los Angeles show.

Charli XCX has canceled her Arizona stop on the Music, Fashion, Film tour, telling fans she has "completely lost my voice" after fighting illness across the run.

The singer was set to perform at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale on Wednesday. She broke the news in a social media post addressed to her "Arizona angles," her term for the fanbase. The cancelation comes near the tail end of the North American leg, which follows two packed shows in Los Angeles over the weekend.

What happened?

Charli explained the mechanics bluntly. "I put absolutely everything i have into my performances, both physically and emotionally, and it breaks me that i can't be with you tomorrow," she wrote. "my team worked hard to find a new date but ultimately were unable to."

That last detail matters. A rescheduled date would have kept tickets valid; instead, the show is off entirely. Charli promised to return to Arizona in the future, but no replacement date exists for now.

What does this change for ticket holders?

Refunds work on two tracks. Fans who bought seats through Ticketmaster will get their money back automatically — no action needed. Everyone else has to return to their original point of purchase to claim a refund.

Charli acknowledged the cost fans pay beyond the ticket price. "again, i'm sorry to the angels who had made plans to be there tomorrow," she wrote. "i know how much time, planning, and care it takes to come to concerts and appreciate everyone's support immensely."

The weekend that preceded it

The Los Angeles shows, at the Kia Forum, delivered two high-profile guest moments. Chappell Roan joined Charli for a duet of "Boom Clap," the singer's breakthrough solo single from 2014. It marked the first time Charli has performed the song live during the Brat-era Music, Fashion, Film run. Later in the same show, PinkPantheress came out to perform her own track "Stateside" for the Forum crowd.

Is the tour still finishing?

Yes. Charli said she is "resting ahead of the final show in vegas this friday." The North American leg concludes on Friday at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. She framed the Vegas date as a shared endpoint with her audience: "i want to be back onstage and finish this tour together with you."

Whether her voice recovers in time for the MGM Grand date is the open question. Wednesday's Glendale cancelation shows how thin the margin has become — an artist who describes giving performances everything, physically and emotionally, has hit a hard physical limit two shows before the finish line.
