Justice Will Score 'GTA VI,' New Track With SZA and Tame Impala Out Now

Programme

  1. Justice will compose the original score for Grand Theft Auto VI.
  2. New single 'Flower in a Hurricane' features Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard.
  3. Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album contains 34 original tracks and releases November 19.
  4. Justice's previous album, 'Hyperdrama,' came out in 2024, followed by a world tour including Coachella.

Justice will compose the original score for "Grand Theft Auto VI," Rockstar Games and Atlantic Records confirmed. The French electronic duo — Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay — mark the announcement with a new single, "Flower in a Hurricane," featuring Tame Impala alongside SZA and King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard.

The song appears on "Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album" and doubles as a standalone Justice single. The score itself stays under wraps for now: more details arrive in the run-up to the game and soundtrack's simultaneous release on November 19.

What does the soundtrack actually contain?

Plenty, and it's coming fast. "Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album" will hold 34 original tracks in total. Physical editions include multiple vinyl variants and CDs, plus retail exclusives for Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon and more.

The rollout started with six new songs:

  • Yung Lean's "That's It" featuring Future and Metro Boomin
  • Travis Scott's "Rhyno"
  • "Sexy Magic" by Ca7riel & Paco Amoroso, PinkPantheress, Fred Again… and Etienne de Crécy
  • Morgan Wallen's "Last Thing You Need"
  • Rauw Alejandro's "Macacoa 2000"
  • Keith Richards' "Bright Lights, Big City"

Last week brought two more: Cardi B's "Don't Chart" and Fuerza Regida's "Suzuki."

Why Justice, and why now?

The assignment lands at a high point for the duo. Justice released their fourth album, "Hyperdrama," in 2024, then took it on a world tour that included a key performance at Coachella. Scoring one of the most anticipated games in years is a different kind of platform — a score (the instrumental music composed for a game or film, as opposed to licensed songs) reaches players continuously across dozens of hours of play.

What does this change for listeners? If you don't game at all, you still get the payoff: the album stands alone, Justice's single is out independently, and the November 19 release date gives both the game and its music a shared, heavily promoted launch.
