  3. Del Rey's last solo release was "White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter" in February; her eighth album was announced over two years ago.

  5. Bryan announced a 2027 North American and Australian tour starting in April in Minneapolis, with John Fogerty as a "special guest."

Lana Del Rey returns as a featured artist on Zach Bryan's new song "Lies," the opening salvo from his freshly released EP Young Manhood and Other Donatable Organs. It's her first release since the February single "White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter."

The feature lands at an odd moment in Del Rey's timeline. She formally announced her eighth album more than two years ago, and in July she teased a "companion" record alongside the tentatively titled Stove. Neither has arrived. Instead, she's resurfaced on someone else's song — a strategy that keeps her in rotation while her own project simmers.

What's on the new EP?

Lies isn't the only collaboration on Young Manhood and Other Donatable Organs. The EP also includes a song with Turnpike Troubadours and backing vocals from Katy Kirby. The tracklist signals Bryan's habit of packaging marquee guests into short, quick-turnaround releases.

The EP follows a busy stretch for the Oklahoma songwriter. His 25-song fourth album With Heaven on Top arrived in January, complete with an acoustic edition. That record came after 2024's The Great American Bar Scene and his 2023 self-titled solo LP.

What does the feature change for Del Rey?

For Del Rey, "Lies" is a low-stakes bridge. Her own album — announced over two years back — remains without a release date, and a duet with one of country's biggest streaming draws buys visibility without committing her to a rollout. For Bryan, a Lana Del Rey feature widens his reach beyond the country and Americana audience he already dominates.

Bryan's 2027 tour takes shape

Earlier this week, Bryan announced a 2027 tour across North America and Australia. The run kicks off in April in Minneapolis, with rotating opening acts drawn from a roster including Vance Joy, Emma Ogier and Gabriella Rose. Creedence Clearwater Revival's John Fogerty will appear as a "special guest."

Bryan has spent much of 2026 on the road, touring with support from Dijon, MJ Lenderman, Alabama Shakes, Kings of Leon and Gregory Alan Isakov, among others. The 2027 dates extend that pace across two continents.

What happens next with Stove and its "companion" record remains Del Rey's open question — but with each guest spot and standalone single, the wait for album number eight stretches longer.
