Sugababes will release a self-titled album on February 12, 2027, via Sacred Three/The Orchard — the group's first album in 26 years to feature the original lineup of Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhán Donaghy.

The record will be only the second album the three women have made together as a trio. Donaghy left the band between the 2000 debut, One Touch, and 2002's Angels With Dirty Faces. The comeback single, "Ghost," is out now with an accompanying video.

The press release promises an eclectic mix of genres, including garage, amapiano and R&B.

"We knew from the beginning that we didn't want to rush this record," Sugababes said in a statement. "We've poured so much into the songs, the sound and every detail around it, and the more it came together, the clearer it became that there was only one thing we could call it: Sugababes. It feels unmistakably us. We've loved writing and recording this record, and we're so excited that it's finally time for people to hear it."

The group has changed its lineup four times over the years. The third shift was so drastic that no original member remained by the time the band released the 2009 album Sweet 7. While that iteration of the group went on hiatus, Buena, Buchanan and Donaghy began working to reclaim the Sugababes name.

They returned to the stage in 2012 as Mutya Keisha Siobhán (MKS). They did not perform under the Sugababes alias again until 2021.

"[This comeback] is way more than just a financial thing for us. It is about restoring what was meant to be. And about justice," Buchanan told the Guardian in 2023. "There's been a lot of unfairness, a lot of things behind the scenes, and we felt like we had to reclaim back what was rightfully ours."

The album's tracklist runs 12 songs:

With the name reclaimed and the original trio intact, the February 2027 release will test whether a band that lost and regained its identity can convert a 26-year wait into a defining second act.
