Programme

  1. Slayyyter canceled the remaining 10 dates of her U.K./European "Wor$t Girl in the World" tour due to laryngitis and vocal cord tears.
  2. Doctors ordered medication and full vocal rest for at least two weeks to avoid permanent vocal damage.
  3. Canceled cities include Warsaw, Prague, Berlin, Antwerp, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, Brighton and London (closing night November 5); full refunds available at point of sale.
  4. Her album "Wor$t Man in America" is set for release December 4 via RECORDS/Columbia Records.
  5. Slayyyter's team is working on rebooking the canceled shows for next year.

Slayyyter has canceled the remaining 10 dates of her U.K. and European tour after doctors diagnosed laryngitis and vocal cord tears, the singer announced on Instagram Stories. Her "Wor$t Girl in the World" tour will stop mid-run, with a closing night in London scrapped alongside nine other shows.

The diagnosis carries weight. Laryngitis (inflammation of the vocal cords) combined with tears in the tissue can cause permanent damage if a performer keeps singing through it. Slayyyter's medical orders were blunt: medication and full vocal rest for at least two weeks.

"I am heartbroken to share after multiple doctor visits I have laryngitis and vocal cord tears and have been ordered to go on medication and full vocal rest for at least two weeks," she wrote. "Because of this, I am forced to cancel the remaining UK/EU dates to avoid permanent damage to my voice."

Which shows are off?

The canceled run covers most of continental Europe and Britain. The scrapped dates include:

  • Warsaw
  • Prague
  • Berlin
  • Antwerp
  • Manchester
  • Birmingham
  • Glasgow
  • Brighton
  • A closing night in London on November 5

Full refunds will be available at the point of sale. That's the standard remedy, and in this case the only one on offer.

This is the second pullback this week. On Wednesday, Slayyyter had already canceled shows in Copenhagen and Hamburg, citing the need to "protect further damage" to her voice. The continent-wide cancellation, coming days later, suggests the rest did not take.

What did Slayyyter tell fans?

The singer addressed the audience directly, and at some length for an Instagram Story. She acknowledged the cost to fans who had planned around the dates, some of whom had traveled or made costumes for the shows, and promised a return.

"I know how much time and effort is spent to come out to a show," she wrote. "Some of you have traveled, some of you have made costumes, and I am completely devastated to not be able to give you the shows you were planning for. We are working hard to figure out a time to return so I can deliver an even bigger and better show for you all. I hope you know I will make this up to you."

Her team, she said, is working on rebooking the shows for next year. No rescheduled dates have been announced yet, so ticketholders waiting on a new London night will have to watch for follow-ups.

What's next for Slayyyter?

The timing is unlucky but the pipeline is full. Slayyyter recently announced that "Wor$t Man in America," the "brother" album to "Wor$t Girl in America," will arrive on December 4 via RECORDS/Columbia Records. The label describes the record as a "counterpart to its predecessor" that "introduces contrasting visuals and a fresh perspective on the themes and ideas explored in the project before it."

An album release needs no vocals on stage, which is just as well. A December 4 release and a two-week vocal rest are compatible schedules; a European tour and torn vocal cords are not. Fans should expect rescheduled dates for 2026, and a singer under orders not to hum until the medication does its work.
