Songwriter Edgar Barrera leads the 2026 Latin Grammy nominations with 10 nods, recognized for collaborations with Karol G, Carín León, and others, the Latin Recording Academy announced today. Karol G, Rosalía, Jorge Drexler, and the duo CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso follow with seven nominations each.

Rosalía's Lux contends for Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Song of the Year — the latter two for "La Perla," her collaboration with Yahritza y Su Esencia. She faces Karol G, CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, and Silvana Estrada in all three categories. Becky G and Santana also landed a Song of the Year nomination for "Mi Gran Amor."

In the urban categories, J Balvin and Ryan Castro earned a Best Urban Music Album nomination for Omerta, competing against records from Young Miko and Bad Gyal. Rauw Alejandro, Wisin, and Ñengo Flow are up for Best Reggaeton Performance. Bizarrap and Daddy Yankee picked up a Best Urban Performance nomination for "Daddy Yankee: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 0/66."

"These artists reflect the extraordinary diversity and constant evolution of Latin music, and our Academy continues to evolve in response to this dynamic, creative landscape," Manuel Abud, CEO of the Latin Recording Academy, said in a statement.

The winners will be selected at a ceremony at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Thursday, November 12. Univision will air the event live, with additional broadcasting partners still to be announced.
