Drake has premiered FOMO, the film he teased in August under the title "Fear of Missing Out" and later described as "a not so short film" and "self funded surrealism."

The full project, which arrived last week, includes a bit of everything: Drake on a speed boat, Drake working out, Drake in a Brat tee, appearances from Sexxy Red, and snippets of new music.

FOMO also carries a musical premiere. Drake unveiled his remix of Ella Langley's record-breaking hit "Choosin Texas," which slows down the country-pop original and ropes in Don Toliver for an extra R&B touch.

The film caps an extraordinarily prolific year for the rapper. In 2025, Drake has already released two-and-a-half hours of new music, accompanied by 18 music videos, with FOMO serving as at least one more trick up his sleeve.

The music behind the film traces back to a single project. Prior to their release in May, Drake's three new albums—Iceman, Maid of Honor, and Habibti—were billed as one project called Iceman. The promotional cycle included the erection of a massive ice ziggurat in a Toronto parking lot.

The trilogy delivered historic results. Drake became the first artist to hold the No. 1, 2, and 3 spots on the Billboard 200 chart in the same week—albeit on a technicality. Along the way, he also barked for a goth baddie and bought her mom a house.

At the FOMO premiere, Drake announced he will go on tour in 2027, giving fans their first fixed date for his next live run since the album rollout began.

Readers can revisit Hattie Lindert's "5 Takeaways From Drake's Iceman, Habibti, and Maid of Honour" for a deeper look at the trilogy that fueled this year of relentless output.
