Miley Cyrus has released the complete credits for Bass Persuades, her first album since 2025's Something Beautiful and her first release under the newly adopted mononym "Miley." The 10-track LP features Model/Actriz on "Different Religion" and Miike Snow's Andrew Wyatt on "Neon Signs," with production from frequent collaborator Kid Harpoon and the singer's fiancé, Maxx Morando.

Cyrus announced the album on Instagram and framed it as the product of two decades of motion. "This album happened fast but that's been my life for 20 years," she wrote. "Once I started wishing to land a role that would make LA my home it's been nonstop. This album is a reflection of everywhere I've been along the way and the peace that came with starting to slow it all down. Thank you for celebrating this release with me. It's a special record and it's bliss to share with you."

The credits reveal a tight production core. Kid Harpoon co-produces all ten tracks and appears throughout as a composer, bassist, guitarist, pianist, percussionist and drummer. Morando co-produces five songs — the title track, "Aftermath," "REDLIGHTS," "Innocent Ways," "Snow" and the closing "Bass Persuades Remixx" — and shares writing credit with Cyrus alone on "Innocent Ways." Michael Pollack, a Cyrus staple, co-produces eight tracks and contributes piano, synthesizer and Wurlitzer across the record.

The tracklist leans on a small circle of trusted engineers and mixers. Randy Merrill mastered every song. Mark "Spike" Stent mixed six tracks, including the title song and the Andrew Wyatt duet, with Kieran Scott as assistant mixer. Dave Fridmann mixed three — "Let's Get Married," "Orbit" and "Aftermath" — and Shawn Everett handled "REDLIGHTS" and "Snow."

Guest contributions reach beyond the pop mainstream. Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne supplies additional vocals on "Aftermath." Strings arranger Davide Rossi worked on "REDLIGHTS." Harpist Sara Kawai plays on "Orbit," a track that also lists a dulcimer guitar from Pollack and a Mellotron from Griff Clawson. Saxophonist James King appears on the opener. The hand claps on the title track belong to Sonya Savitch-Kleiner, Lullah Hull and Fox Myles-Hull.

Model/Actriz leave fingerprints in several places beyond their featured turn. The band — Cole Haden, Jack Wetmore, Aaron Shapiro and Ruben Radlauer — share composer credit on "Different Religion," "Snow" and the closing remix, which the group also remixed. The production team Monsterz & Strangerz, the duo of Jordan Johnson and Stefan Johnson, co-produced "Let's Get Married," "Orbit," "Aftermath" and "REDLIGHTS."

Wyatt's collaboration extends past vocals: on "Neon Signs" he plays Farfisa organ, synth bass and drums, and he co-engineered the session alongside Brian Rajaratnam and Liam Hebb.

Cyrus will perform the album live at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles next month, with shows on October 16 and October 18 — the first test of whether the bass persuades in person.
